Kriti Sanon and Prabhas had been trending big time ever since rumours about the stars dating started doing the rounds. Kriti Sanon, on Tuesday, clarified in an Instagram story that the “rumours are absolutely baseless.” Kriti Sanon’s statement arrived right after Bhediya co-star Varun Dhawan had hinted that the Adipurush co-stars are dating. “It’s neither Pyaar, nor PR. Our Bhediya just went a little too wild on a reality show. And his fun banter led to some Howl-arious rumours. Before some portal announces my wedding date-let me burst your bubble. The rumours are absolutely baseless,” read Kriti Sanon’s statement.
During the promotion of Varun and Kriti’s film ‘Bhediya’ at the dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’, a video from the show where Varun could be seen interacting with Karan Johar went viral on social media. In the video, when Karan asked Varun about a list and why Kriti’s name was not on it, the ‘Main Tera Hero’ actor replied “Kriti ka naam isiliye nahi tha kyunki Kriti ka naam kisi ke dil me hai. Ek aadmi hai jo Mumbai me nahi hai, vo iss waqt shooting kar raha hai Deepika Padukone ke saath.”
This made fans go crazier and soon more rumours started floating online. However, Kriti took to social media last night to refute all these baseless rumours. Her Instagram story read, “It’s neither Pyaar, no PR… our Bhediya just went a little too wild on a reality show. And his fun banter leads to some howl-arious rumours. Before some portal announces my wedding date- let me burst your bubble. The rumours are baseless!”
Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, is based on the Ramayana and stars Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam in theatres next year.
In terms of work, Kriti Sanon was last seen inBhediya, co-starring Varun Dhawan. She will next be seen in Shehzada with Kartik Aaryan and Ganapath with Tiger Shroff.
Kriti and Prabhas will be seen in ‘Adipurush’, the mega Indian film produced by T Series and Retrophiles, directed by Om Raut. It was earlier slated to release on January 12, 2023; however, it will now hit the theatres on June 16, 2023. The film is based on the Indian epic Ramayana. Prabhas plays Lord Ram while Saif stars as the antagonist Lankesh in the movie.
