NEW YORK — WNBA MVP Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty and MVP applicants Alyssa Thomas of the Connecticut Sun and A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces have been unanimous alternatives to the 2023 All-WNBA First Group, the league introduced Sunday.
The primary group used to be rounded out by means of the Minnesota Lynx‘s Napheesa Collier and Dallas Wings‘ Satou Sabally.
The second one group featured the Los Angeles Sparks‘ Nneka Ogwumike, the Aces’ Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray, the Seattle Storm‘s Jewell Loyd, and the Self rule’s Sabrina Ionescu.
The Aces and Self rule, who meet in Recreation 3 of the WNBA Finals on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET, have been the one golf equipment with more than one avid gamers at the All-WNBA first and 2nd groups (the Aces had 3, life the Self rule had two). The Aces manage the order 2-0.
Stewart and Ogwumike earned their 6th total All-WNBA group alternatives and Wilson earned her fourth, life Grey and Loyd have been each and every selected for the 3rd day. Thomas, Ionescu and Collier each and every earned their 2nd All-WNBA honors. Collier and Thomas made their debuts at the first group, life Sabally and Younger have been selected for All-WNBA nods for the primary day.
