Kajol is back with a new film. The actress took to her official Instagram account a few days ago to share the first poster from her upcoming film titled Salaam Venky. Kajol also revealed the trailer release date of the film, that is November 14. Her husband Ajay Devgn gave a shout-out on her post. Salaam Venky is slated to release on December 9, 2022.
In the poster of Salaam Venky, Kajol is seen decked up in a red saree. She pushes a young boy on a wheelchair with bags full of vegetables. Both Kajol and the boy have big smiles on their faces. Sharing the poster on Instagram, Kajol wrote, “Ek Badi Zindagi ka Bada (A long life’s big) Celebration is about to begin!
Salaam Venky is produced by Suraj Singh, Shraddha Agrawal and Varsha Kukreja under the banner Blive Productions and Retake Studios. It is directed by Revathy. Salaam Venky stars Revathy Asha Kelunni, Vishal N. Jethwa, Aahana S Kumra, Rahul Bose and Rajeev Khandelwal alongside Kajol. The true story is based on a heroic mother and the challenges she faces in life.
In support Ajay Devgan tweeted “Get ready to live life Venky size. My best wishes to the entire team.” to cheer his love of life and a better half for her upcoming film named Salaam Venky.
In an official statement, Kajol said she feels fortunate to play the role of Sujata in Salaam Venky. “Since the day I heard about the idea of the film, it touched my heart so deeply and I knew I definitely wanted to be a part of this wonderful story,” she said.
Salaam Venky directed by Revathi, will release in theaters on December 9.Other than Kajol and Vishal Jethwa, the film also stars Aahana Kumra, Rahul Bose, Rajeev Khandelwal, Prakash Raj and Anant Mahadevan.
