NEW DELHI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) Treasurer Ashish Shelar informed on Friday that National Selection Committee chairman Chetan Sharma, has tendered his resignation.
Chetan Sharma sent his resignation to the BCCI Secretary Jay Shah and it was accepted.
The resignation comes after Chetan Sharma disclosed behind-the-scenes talks regarding team selection to Zee News during a sting operation aired on Tuesday.
