The competitive Valorant scene in India just received a huge boost following the announcement of an exclusive .
Teams are hard at work preparing for the upcoming tournament while organizations are planning out the perfect roster to deliver their absolute best performance.
One lineup in particular which has created a lot of buzz is that of Velocity Gaming, with rumors about two international players from UK and Croatia being allegedly signed by the Indian organization.
Well, according to AFK Gaming’s sources, Velocity Gaming and Revenant Esports are in advanced discussions to create a combined Valorant roster for the 2023 season.
Velocity Gaming and Revenant Esports to come together for the 2023 season to form a single Valorant lineup
Since the start of February, there have been murmurs across the Valorant community about an upcoming big announcement by Velocity Gaming related to its lineup for the current competitive season.
The organization has itself it on quite a few occasions, with the players () and the owner () also joining in on the fun, but nothing substantial has been confirmed.
AFK Gaming has learned from its sources that Velocity Gaming will be announcing the upcoming roster in partnership with Revenant Esports. The lineup will consist of the following players,

Karan “Excali” Mhaswadkar
Debanjan “DEATHMAKER” Das
Saksham “Deadly10” Aurangabadkar
Tejas “rite2ace” Sawant
Adam “ec1s” Eccles
Domagoj “Doma” Fancev
Sagnik “Hellff” Roy (Substitute)
This information is subject to change, contingent upon the foreign players having secured their work permits, but this is the roster that is expected to compete in the upcoming Valorant Challengers League South Asia.
A thing to note here is that Manoj “Sentinel” Kasyap – Owner of Velocity Gaming, on 5th February had publicly stated “Visas done”, but no context was provided regarding this which has left the community dazed.
Apart from this, Sentinel had also come forward to clarify that Amaterasu will not be retiring from competitive Valorant. A query that had popped up following speculations about Velocity signing ec1s, who is an experienced IGL (In-Game Leader) having played with international organizations like Team Liquid, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and 100 Thieves.
One thing which is confirmed via the Instagram stories being uploaded by ec1s is that both him and Doma are currently in India, which means an official announcement might be just around the corner!
