Philadelphia Phillies ace Zack Wheeler was placed on the 15-day injured list with a blood clot near his right shoulder, the team announced Saturday.
The timetable for his return is unclear.
Wheeler, 35, is 10-5 with a 2.71 ERA this season and leads the majors in strikeouts with 195.
