KL Rahul, an Indian cricketer, and Athiya Shetty wed on Monday, putting an end to weeks of rumours about their plans. KL Rahul and Athiya sent the same message on their respective social media platforms. Some of the well-known figures from Indian cricket and the entertainment business were among those sending their congratulations on their marriage. To mention a few, there are Alia Bhatt, Virat Kohli, and Karan Johar.
The newlyweds posted a picture of their wedding and captioned it, “In your light, I learn how to love… We got married today, surrounded by the people we love the most, in the place that has brought us so much happiness and peace. On this journey of togetherness, we ask for your blessings with a heart full of gratitude and love.
Kohli responded to the news by writing, “Congratulations.” A number of red-heart emoticons were posted by Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar. “Congratulations Athiyyyaa!,” commented Kriti Sanon. I’m so thrilled for you two! Lots of love, please!
Punjab Kings, an IPL team, wrote: “Many congrats. We send our best wishes for this union! Prior to joining Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL, Rahul led Punjab Kings.
When Suniel Shetty reportedly told reporters, “Bahut acha raha, aur abhi phere bhi ho gaye, shaadi officially ho chuki hai, aur officially father-in-law bhi ban chuka hoon (It went well and the pheras just concluded),” he was reportedly unable to contain his delight. I’m now a father-in-law and the wedding is officially over.
The Bollywood star was spotted giving candy to the waiting journalists. He was joined by his son, Ahan Shetty.
While Rahul and Athiya have already exchanged vows, their wedding celebration won’t happen until the end of the 2018 IPL season.
