Kartik recently made headlines after he was abruptly fired from the upcoming Dostana 2 movie by Karan Johar. Before the epidemic, the film had already begun production, and Kartik and the rest of the cast had already shot their scenes. Kartik recently made an appearance on Rajat Sharma’s Aap ki Adalat, where he was questioned over his decision to leave Dostana 2. The actor was quoted as stating, “This occurs occasionally. I haven’t previously discussed this. The younger person should never talk about a fight between two people, I believe in what my mother taught me, and these are also my values. I adhere to that, so I never bring it up.
Kartik was further questioned about rumours that he left the movie after asking for more money and was turned down. The performer responded by saying, “This is like Chinese whispers; it’s a make-believe story. Never once have I quit a movie over money. I have a really large appetite, but it is for script rather than cash. Kartik, however, revealed the real cause and claimed that there had been a break of 1.5 years and that some pre-planned alterations to the script had been made that were not possible. The actor claimed that their relationship had improved, adding that Karan Johar had congratulated him on the Shehzada trailer and the actor had returned the favour.
