It is now widely known that director Rohit Shetty is busily creating his own universe, much like the Marvel Universe. Ajay Devgn from the Singham series will star alongside Ranveer Singh from Simmba and Akshay Kumar from Sooryavanshi in Shetty’s ambitious film. Deepika Padukone will reportedly play Lady Singham in Shetty’s female-driven story. To continue the cop universe saga, Shetty is preparing for the upcoming project, which stars Ajay Devgn. The movie, Singham Again, will continue the plot from the previous two releases. It’s interesting that since its announcement, there has been a lot of speculation about whether Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar will make guest appearances in Singham Again.
A source close to the project confirms that both Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar will appear in the Ajay Devgn-starring film Singham Again. “It is an entire cop universe, and like the Marvel Universe where film featured cameos by other members, Singham Again will also feature cameos,” the source says. Akshay and Ranveer will appear in Singham Again, just as in Simmba where both Ajay and Akshay made appearances, albeit in the post credits, and later in Sooryavanshi where Ranveer and Ajay were seen. When you enquire further about the situation, the source continues, “These films are being prepared to coincide with one another, therefore it is obvious that all three will appear in each other’s films.”
