Genshin Impact is known for its puzzles and mysteries scattered throughout the game’s world. The Lost Grimoire and Bookshelf puzzles were released as part of Genshin Impact Version 4.6 in the Faded Castle of the Nostoi Region. Locations of the Lost Grimoires
The Lost Grimoire quest begins in the Faded Castle of the Nostoi Region. Players must first unlock all teleport waypoints in the castle and complete the world quest “The Hall of the Sea King” to navigate the area easily.
Lost Grimoire #1: Found near the main hallway of Faded Castle, east of the teleport waypoint.
Lost Grimoire #2: Located east of the first Grimoire, at the top of the stairs.
Bookshelf Locations and Rewards
Placing all eight Lost Grimoires on the Bookshelves unlocks hidden rooms with valuable rewards. Here are the locations of the Bookshelves and the rewards they contain:
Bookshelf #1: On the top floor of the library, contains a Hydroculus and a Precious Chest.
Bookshelf #2: Opposite the blue crystal on the first floor of the library, contains an Exquisite Chest.
Bookshelf #3: In the middle of the stairs in the library, contains an Exquisite Chest.
Bookshelf #4: On the ground floor of the library, contains a Remarkable Chest and Praetorian Golems.
Rewards and Achievements
Placing all eight Lost Grimoires on the Bookshelves unlocks hidden locations and rewards, including Hydroculus, Exquisite Chests, and Precious Chests. Players can also unlock two hidden achievements, “I Ask of Thee, Art Thou Mankind?” and “Loved by Books,” by completing the quest.
