Honkai: Star Rail’s livestream for version 2.2 is set to take place on 26th April, which coincides with the first-year anniversary of the game. Robin and Boothill’s gameplay will be showcased for the first time at the livestream event and we can expect a rundown of all the new content that will arrive next month as part of the new update. What to Expect From Honkai: Star Rail 2.2
New Characters
Robin (Harmony): A brand new Harmony character who is expected to synergize with follow-up attackers.
Boothill (The Hunt): A Physical Hunt character focused on Break damage.
Reruns: The expected reruns are Topaz and Fu Xuan but we need to wait for the official livestream for a confirmation.
New Gameplay Modes
Divergent Universe (Simulated Universe Update): This revamped mode will offer more varied challenges by letting you combine Blessings and Curios for unique effects. It will also have features like a quick Planar Ornament claim function and a Save File system for boss battles.
Apocalyptic Shadow: This new permanent game mode throws difficult encounters at you with previously faced enemies, with some boss twists. You’ll aim for high scores to get rewards. This mode will rotate alongside Pure Fiction and Memory of Chaos.
Other Improvements:
Light Cones: Four new Light Cones are expected, including some designed for the new characters. You can expect a free 4-star Harmony Light Cone and a craftable 4-star Nihility Light Cone.
Quality of Life Features: Leaks suggest a Recommendation feature for Traces and potential new social features to enhance the player experience.
