India are set to host South Africa for a long multi-format series beginning on November 14, starting with the Test matches. Shubman Gill will lead the Indian side, with Rishabh Pant serving as his deputy. The opening Test will be played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, followed by the second Test at Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati from November 22. The series will feature two Tests, three ODIs, and five T20Is, running for more than a month. After the red-ball leg, the ODI matches will be held in Ranchi, Raipur, and Visakhapatnam on November 30, December 3, and December 6 respectively. The T20I leg will then travel across Cuttack, Mullanpur, Dharamshala, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad between December 9 and 19. India head into the series with strong momentum, having recently beaten West Indies 2-0 at home and drawn the Test series against England earlier this year.
