Watch: India cricketers reach Barbados for T20 World Cup final clash against South Africa

NEW DELHI: In a bid to break their 11-year old ICC trophy drought, the Indian cricket team arrived in Barbados for the summit clash against South Africa.
On Saturday, the Indian cricket board (BCCI) shared a video on their official X handle of Rohit Sharma and his men reaching Barbados.
The video shows the Providence Stadium in Guyana where India beat England in the rain-interrupted semifinal, with the covers on.The video also shows excited fans cheering for Team India and a fan wearing a Pakistan cricket jersey saying, “Congratulations to India. Let’s go!”
The video then shows the Indian cricketers boarding the BW8001 flight from Guyana and arriving in Barbados.

The Champions Trophy victory in 2013 was the last trophy that India had won on the global stage.
In what may turn out to be their last T20I event, Rohit, 37, and fellow opener Virat Kohli, 35, entered this competition hoping to win.
While Kohli has failed with just 75 runs in seven innings, Rohit has amassed more runs (248) than any other player in the final and is in a position to make that form matter.
A sizable group of Indian fans is anticipated for the match, as is typical of the ancient home of West Indies cricket, which should provide the ideal atmosphere.
