Who Is Skrossi?

Ganesh “Skrossi” Gangadhar has become a household name in the Indian Gaming Industry. The first iconic moment that come to mind with the name Skrossi is the famous Ace which helped his former team, Global Esports, achieve a remarkable 9-3 comeback and win the Valorant Conquerors Championship which enabled the team to represent India and South Asia at the APAC (Asia Pacific) Last Chance Qualifiers. Currently, Skrossi is playing for the Revenant Esports Valorant team.

Skrossi’s Journey and transition to Valorant

Skrossi began his esports career by playing Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO). He played in multiple events against the top Indian and SouthEast Asian (SEA) region teams and won several events. He transitioned to Valorant in 2020 and was picked up by Global Esports (a team which later on partnered with Riot Games for Valorant). The Global Esports squad was one of the most dominating teams in India in 2021 and won multiple events back to back.

Skrossi’s consistent performance across events against some of the best teams in India contributed to his rise to fame. His most noteworthy moment arose in the Finals of the Valorant Conqueror Championship 2021 Finals event against Velocity Gaming. The teams were tied 2-2 in the Best of 5 (Bo5) Finals. Velocity Gaming dominated the first half of Map 5 (Ascent) and was leading by a considerable margin of 6 rounds with a scoreline of 9-3. The Global Esports squad mounted a steady comeback in the second half. Skrossi secured a brilliant Ace with the Operator in the 5th round of the second half which helped the team build momentum and win the championship.

Skrossi along with Abhirup “LightningFast” Choudhury became one of the first Indian Valorant players to be featured in the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) tournaments to play against some of the best international teams in the world. He played under the Global Esports banner, a team which was partnered with Riot Games for VCT tournaments. He had moments of brilliance in some of the matches he played at the Lock//IN event in Sao Paulo and the VCT Pacific League in the 2023 season, but inconsistent performances across other matches meant that the organization had to part ways with him as the season concluded.

Skrossi’s Earnings

According to , Skrossi has earned $3,697 USD for his Most Valuable Performances (MVP) across events. He also has a Youtube channel named Skrossi and boasts 157K subscribers. He live streams on a daily basis and also uploads highlight videos. According to Social Blade, he earns approximately $59 USD to $947 USD a month.

To start the 2024 season, Skrossi was signed by the well known Revenant Esports organization. He played in the Valorant Challengers 2024 South Asia: Split 1 Cup 1 with them and the team placed third enabling it to proceed and play the Cup 2 event.
