These days, Shaheen is grappling with problems indistinguishable to his week and condition, that have ended in lackluster performances in all 3 International Cup video games. He has controlled to conserve simply 4 wickets, however at a steep value of 139 runs.”I don’t know if there is a problem with his fitness,” Waqar, who’s in Republic of India as a commentator, instructed AFP.
“The missing link in his bowling is discipline and he is over trying to get wickets.
“While you do the similar factor over and over again, like Shaheen is bowling to get his yorker going, after batsmen know that and they’re able for it.”
Waqar recommended that Shaheen should take inspiration from Bumrah, whom he praised as a “top-class bowler.” Bumrah, the leading Indian bowler, currently shares the position of the top wicket-taker in the World Cup, having taken eight wickets at an impressive average of just 11.52.

Additionally, New Zealand’s spinner Mitchell Santner and fast bowler Matt Henry have also secured eight wickets apiece.
India thumped Pakistan by seven wickets in Ahmedabad on Saturday, with Shaheen unable to help Pakistan defend a meagre 192-run target.
In contrast, Bumrah dismissed Mohammad Rizwan and Shadab Khan with two well executed deliveries to finish with 2-19 in seven overs.
“Bumrah is developing power and his sequence is zenith of the off stump. He bowled so smartly towards Pakistan and created power to get wickets,” said Waqar.
Shaheen, 23, has been leading Pakistan’s new-ball attack since taking 16 wickets in five World Cup games in the United Kingdom four years ago.

But former India allrounder Ravi Shastri blasted the comparison during the Pakistan-India match, saying: “Shaheen isn’t any Wasim Akram”, claiming that the Pakistan star is “no longer particular.”
Waqar believes that the absence of regular new-ball partner Naseem Shah — ruled out of the World Cup with a shoulder injury — may have had a detrimental effect on Shaheen’s performances so far.
“Naseem is a superb bowler and doesn’t give many runs away,” said Waqar of the 20-year-old.
“When Naseem creates power, batsmen jerk probabilities with alternative bowlers they usually get wickets.”
Waqar said Pakistan’s bowling was “missing self-discipline” at the World Cup where three games have yielded two wins and one loss.
“I don’t assume it’s on account of lacking only one bowler, nevertheless it’s as a result of they aren’t preserving it easy.”
Pakistan, who beat the Netherlands and Sri Lanka before losing to India, next face Australia in Bengaluru on Friday.
