TCU linebacker Johnny Hodges stated on Tuesday that his staff’s defensive efficiency in a 45-42 loss to Colorado was once unwanted, calling the Horned Frogs “the laughingstock of college football.”

Hodges defended defensive coordinator Joe Gillespie upcoming the Frogs protection gave up 45 issues, 565 yards and allowed 510 passing yards and 4 touchdowns to Shedeur Sanders, pronouncing that Gillespie had ready them in particular for what Colorado did.
“It’s very, very upsetting that our defensive coordinator has to take all this slack when he did nothing but tell us exactly what was going to happen and put us in situations in practice that mocked the game and we weren’t able to take what he told us and bring it on the field on Saturday,” Hodges stated.
