Actor Gerard Butler frequently discusses his appreciation of Bollywood and Indian culture in interviews. The worldwide icon actually met Shah Rukh Khan in 2009 while he was in India and had some wonderful experiences in Mannat. At that time, Butler also got to know Priyanka Chopra.
The “300” actor reminisced in a recent interview about how intriguing it was to meet SRK and Priyanka. Speaking to the media, Butler revealed that at a house party at Shah Rukh Khan’s Mumbai residence, the actor even demonstrated Indian dancing for him. The Hollywood star further disclosed that while they were both guests at the same hotel, he once observed Priyanka filming a dance scene for a movie. Not only that, but out of politeness for Butler, Priyanka even hosted a lunch for him. The actor added that Priyanka Chopra and he are close friends.
The Hollywood celebrity responded that his favourite Bollywood film is “Monsoon Wedding,” directed by Mira Nair, in 2001. He added that watching this movie inspired him to propose to an Indian woman.
