The catch is that in order to join Velocity Gaming, a devoted Indian Valorant player must rank among the top 10 Radiant players for the current season.
An audience member asked the following question during a recent Q&A session that Velocity Gaming owner Manoj “VLT Sentinel” Kasyap presented on his official YouTube channel: “Will companies be interested in buying an unknown Indian Valorant player who has attained top 10 radiant rank?”
In response to this inquiry, VLT Sentinel shared the contract information that he would be prepared to provide for any such Indian player, after properly screening them to ensure their integrity.
All teams have begun preparing for the next competition, which will be the first time the competitive Valorant circuit has ever used the recently adopted franchise system.
In order to strengthen their various lineups, Indian esports organisations have already begun to make the required adjustments. Velocity Gaming, for example, brought in Saksham “Deadly10” Aurangabadkar and Karan “excali” Mhaswadkar in the latter part of last year.
The company appears to still be eager to add a new player, but there are certain extremely improbable standards that the candidate must meet in order to be considered for the position.
VLT Sentinel notes that even before multinational organisations, he would be more than pleased to bring on board an Indian player who has attained the top 10 radiant rank. The contract that would be extended to him would be as follows:
- Base salary of INR 2,50,000 per month.
- Free accommodation at Velocity Gaming’s bootcamp.
- All travel expenses covered whenever competing at any LAN, going for meet and greet sessions, and other other such events.
According to VLT Sentinel, “This is the offer that would be made to you if you are radiant top 10, assuming you are clean.” “We’ll have tryouts, go over your games, and if there’s nothing fishy, then this is what you’ll get.”
He continued by saying that no player on Velocity Gaming’s roster at the moment has received such an offer, but if an Indian player can place in the top ten in Radiant, they will be granted such a deal.
The viewer had posed a hypothetical inquiry, therefore it came as quite a shock to learn that VLT Sentinel was actually prepared to respond by divulging some crucial terms of a Valorant player contract.
