People were thankfully mistaken if they believed that the many calls for a boycott of the movie would be disastrous for Pathaan. The movie has sparked a never-before-seen excitement among Indians. While Pathaan’s second day at the box office in India is reported to have exceeded Rs. 65 crore, the movie is anticipated to outperform its first day’s earnings and possibly surpass the Rs. 106 crore that it earned globally on the day of release.

On its first day, Pathaan became the first Bollywood movie to gross more than Rs. 100 crore worldwide.
Earlier, Karan Johar made fun of the boycott movement in India by claiming that the monarch had not disappeared and was simply waiting for the proper moment to govern. Shah Rukh’s devoted followers frequently refer to him as the king. Shah Rukh, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham play the main characters in Pathaan. But it has since been revealed that Salman Khan also appears in the movie in a cameo capacity.
