Along with suspected conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez was charged in an extortion case involving Rs 215 crore by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). She has now turned witness in the EOW case. It’s true what you just read! B-town diva Nora Fatehi has made the same allegation as Jacqueline that she was a “victim” in the case. Jacqueline testified before the Delhi court that Sukesh tortured her and messed with her emotions. She also accused him of damaging her job and her life. She even said that Sukesh had claimed to be the proprietor of Sun TV and to be the aunt of the late chief minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalitha.
Jacqueline acknowledged getting 20 items of pricey designer jewellery, watches, outfits, purses, and other lavish presents from Sukesh. Even that Chandrashekhar’s assistant Pinky had introduced him as a government employee was allegedly false.
Tuesday, Nora testified in court using a taped statement that the con artist had asked for unjustifiable favours from her. She went so far as to suggest that if she agreed to be Sukesh’s girlfriend, he would guarantee her a large home and a lavish lifestyle.
Additionally, the stunning actress Nora claimed that Pinky Irani had called her cousin and informed her that Jacqueline was awaiting Sukesh’s offer while he preferred Nora. Nora said that she had no idea who Sukesh was and believed he worked for an organisation named LS Corporation. She never spoke to him directly or had any intimate interactions with him. The case used Nora’s formal declaration as evidence. The ED charged Nora with receiving expensive items from the con artist, including a BMW automobile, jewellery, and luggage.
