Last MPL Malaysian representative is sent home by SUPERSHARK’s wild Khufra plays.

The Valley of North America is on a roll in the lower bracket of the M4 World Championship after sweeping Todak of Malaysia, removing the final Malaysian participant from the competition.

The Valley proved unstoppable, dictating the flow of both games to move on to the lower bracket’s third round.

Although the entire North American squad performed admirably, Oscar “SUPERSHARK” Vo stood out in particular, notably in the opening match with his nearly flawless Khufra performance.

Khufra was chosen by the North American team during the drafting process to go up against Todak’s mobile lineup of Karrie, Hayabusa, and Lapu-Lapu.

After capturing the first Turtle and killing Jang “Hoon” Seong-Valentina, hun’s Todak gained the upper hand early on. With a couple kills, The Valley recovered five minutes into the game, though.

After finishing his Sunfire Cape and Guardian Helmet, SUPERSHARK then appears to have switched to beast form in the middle of the game. His Tyrant combination caught two at the ten-minute mark, culminating in a four-man wipeout.
After that move, things got worse for Todak as The Valley quickly destroyed the Enhanced Lord and the midlane base turret.

After Muhammad “Yums” Suhairi’s Ruby captured two with I’m Offended!, it initially appeared that the Malaysian team would withstand the opening onslaught on its base. However, SHARK came back with an impeccable Tyrant’s Rage-Revenge Tyrant’s combo in Todak’s backline, finding another four-man wipeout to put an end to the match.

With a strong 4/1/12 performance, SUPERSHARK was named the game’s MVP for his great effort and game-winning plays. The North American team went on to win the second game with a commanding 20-4 kill score performance to seal the 2-0 sweep as the momentum was now in their favour.
The Valley’s next opponent is RRQ Akira from Brazil on January 12 at 3 PM GMT+8.
