In a now-viral video, actor John Abraham attempts to avoid answering a question on his Pathaan co-star Shah Rukh Khan’s frequently criticised physical appearance. In a press conference clip, John appears to brush off a query regarding SRK’s “health and figure” and stands up to depart. After someone who was obviously not a fan of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan look tweeted the video, it quickly went viral on social media. Trolls have questioned the veracity of the 57-year-old superstar’s extremely chiselled torso in the movie.
Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone play secret ops operatives in the anti-terrorist film Pathaan who are pursuing John Abraham. As a result of SRK’s jaw-dropping body, which includes eight-pack abs, social media is split equally between adoration and scepticism (trolls have blamed CGI).
Pathaan has also, perhaps inevitably, drawn criticism for Deepika Padukone’s attire in the song Beshaam Rang, which included a variety of swimsuits and bikinis.
