Greg Gonzalez, a singer who will play with Cigarettes After S*x in India as part of the first Lollapalooza music festival, has revealed what he enjoys most about singing in front of a live audience.
“One thing that I enjoy while performing in front of a live audience is to witness their reaction, watch them swing and groove, and their reaction to the music as they live through the experience of a live set-up,” the singer, who along with his band is known for the dreamy and limerent sound, told IANS.
Greg Gonzalez believes that audience engagement is one of the most fascinating components of a live performance and that it helps him maintain a connection with the audience throughout the performance. Greg Gonzalez continued, “I love talking with people, but even if I don’t, connecting with them via music on a cerebral level is something only an artist could experience and absorb.”
On January 28 and 29, Lollapalooza India, co-produced and marketed by BookMyShow, is scheduled to take place at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Race Course.
