After Rashmika Mandanna failed to mention his and Rakshit Shetty’s names while discussing her profession, Rishab Shetty has at last spoken. Rashmika mentioned the success of her first movie, Kirik Party, a few weeks earlier, but she omitted to name Paramvah Studios, the production company, or Rishab, the director. She was called “ungrateful” by a number of fans, who also teased her.
Now, Rishab has offered his opinions on Rashmika’s remarks and the responses it elicited from the public. The Kantara actor told The Bombay Journey for Mashable India, “You don’t mind. Toh waisa hi list mein rahenge, bahut saare artists ko hum log leke aaye, aur humko bahut saare directors aur producers ne opportunity diya hai. One doesn’t mind, Aage kuch nahi bolte. There is a huge list of these folks, including numerous directors and producers who have provided us opportunity to launch many acts. (Let’s stop here.)
In an interview with the same journal, Rashmika mentioned the Kirik Party using air quotes. Her actions were regarded as “disrespectful.” While chatting with Gulte, Rishab appeared to respond to her interview. The actor used air quotes and did not mention Rashmila when he listed the actresses he would most like to work with. He said, “Main actors ko script likhne ke baad choose karta hoon, aur mujhe ‘iss’ type ke actress, I don’t like them. Since they have no barriers, I like dealing with beginners. These actors are not my favourites.
