Exclusive! Chahatt Khanna: While I was imprisoned in Tihar, Sukesh Chandrashekhar got down on one knee and proposed to me.

Along with the identities of actresses Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi, the inquiry into the alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s activities while he was detained in Tihar jail has turned up a number of other showbiz figures. These people include Chahatt Khanna, Nikki Tamboli, Sophia Singh, and Arusha Patil; some of them are alleged to have met him in jail, where he is said to have pretended to be a movie producer. In an exclusive interview with us, Chahatt, who recently gave a recorded testimony in front of Delhi’s Patiala House Court, claimed that after being duped into seeing Sukesh in jail, she became the victim of a web of falsehoods and threats. She also alleges that she was constantly blackmailed and coerced into paying a ransom to clear her name.“I am a victim and have suffered and I want the world to know my side of the story,” she tells us.

Chahatt claims that in May 2018 she received a call asking her to serve as a judge at a school event in Delhi. I left on May 18, 2018, for Delhi. I met Angel Khan at the Mumbai airport, and she promised to go with me to the event. We drove a car to the school after landing in Delhi. But after a time, we abruptly came to a stop, and she informed us that this automobile would not be permitted inside the school’s grounds and that we would need to find another one. After that, we transferred to a grey Innova, and I quickly realised that we had left the Tihar prison. She explained to me that we had to enter the school through the jail premises.”

Pinky Irani, who is said to have introduced multiple actresses to Sukesh under various aliases, reportedly used Angel as one of them. In order to look into her involvement in the “200 crore extortion case against Sukesh,” she was first detained by the Enforcement Directorate in 2021 and then by the Delhi Police last year.

Chahatt said that when she realised she was in Tihar, she screamed and begged the driver to stop the car, but the woman kept calming her down, and before she knew it, they had inside the Tihar prison. “I panicked when I realised I was stuck and began to worry about my two children, who were staying with my parents in Mumbai. We were taken to a room after getting out of the automobile. I recall that the room was stocked with costly jewellery, watches, and laptops. Itne thay ki koi ek gir jaata toh sab gir jaate, or Duniya Bhar Ke Branded Bags thay. She recalls that the room had a refrigerator, a sofa, a portable air conditioner, one chair, and other furnishings.

Chahatt was introduced to a man in the space who identified himself as Shekhar Reddy. He was wearing a gold chain and a nice shirt, and she describes how much perfume he had applied. He identified himself as the proprietor of a well-known south Indian TV station and J Jayalalithaa’s nephew. He said that despite being detained in connection with an EVM tampering case during elections, he was receiving VIP treatment. He claimed to be one of my fans, to have watched my television programme Bade Acche Lagte Hain, and to be eager to meet me.

I yelled at him in a panic, “Why would you call me here? I came here thinking it was an event, but I left my six-month-old kid at home. Then, before I knew what was happening, he got down on one knee and proposed to me. “I’m married and I have two kids,” I yelled at him. But he asserted that he would be a father to my children and that my spouse was not the proper man for me. I broke out in tears from anxiety.
