The second season of Shark Tank India is scheduled to premiere tonight (January 2). Amit Jain, the CEO of CarDekho, is the newest participant in the programme. The accomplished businessman spoke exclusively with ETimes TV about his desire to impart his 15 years of knowledge to the pitchers. He went on to say that watching some of the pitchers struggle caused him to become upset. Amit claimed that he could relate to many pitchers since he experienced numerous ups and downs along the way. He said that he did not sign up for the show to get popularity.
Season 2 of Shark Tank India has me really pumped. I feel lucky to be a part of it since it is a first step toward a new India. I’m overjoyed to be able to impart to aspiring business owners anything I’ve learned over my career. With the help of Shark Tank India season 2, I’m happy to spread the message of entrepreneurship to every home. I started my business in the little city of Jaipur, where I now reside, and I wish to share my beliefs, values, and lessons with others.
The success of the second season doesn’t put any strain on me. There is no anxiety or pressure because I am a natural founder and have been operating the company for the past 15 years. The explanation for this is that I have experienced all of the companies that will be featured on the episode. I’ve started four or five enterprises, and they have all grown. My companies generate more than Rs 1000 crores annually. I watched every episode of season 1 to get a sense of the show’s structure and the many types of individuals who would be appearing on it. I also acquired information about these groups of people because I would be investing in them.
