The 32 teams competing in the inaugural VCT LAN event of the year will have little room for error due to Riot Games’ strict ruleset.
There are now two groups made up of the teams: Alpha and Omega. Each group’s 16 teams will compete in a single-elimination bracket tournament until only two teams are left.
One of the first opening matches of the Omega group is scheduled to include some of the most anticipated teams from each region, including Sentinels and Fnatic.
PVT Lock Beginning with the matches for the Alpha group, which take place from February 13 to February 20, there are three tournament stages in Brazil.
All Omega group matches from February 22 to February 27 will be included in the following round. The top four groups will go to the last round, where they’ll participate in the semifinals and championship games from March 3 to 5.
