Adnan Siddiqui, a Pakistani actor, has criticised the Sidharth Malhotra-starring film “Mission Majnu” for its “misrepresentation” of Pakistanis. He has called the film “distasteful” and “factually inaccurate,” and he has criticised its “bad story, poorer execution, and poorest research.”
On his Instagram, Adnan offered out his opinion. The actor, who acted in the late actress Sridevi’s Hindi film “Mom,” wrote: “The amount of misinformation that is too much? Bollywood offers the solution. Come on, Yaar, use all your money to employ some competent researchers to conduct research on us. or let me assist you.”

Sidharth was seen wearing a skull cap to represent his role Tariq in the Shantanu Bagchi-directed movie, and he said that Pakistanis “don’t wear skull caps, surma, and tawiz.” Make sure to take notes, Siddiqui advised: “No, we don’t wear skull caps, surma, or tawiz; no, we don’t inquire about janab’s mijaz; and no, we don’t walk around tossing adaab.”
Added him: “There is a lot of offensive and factually false content in #MissionMajnu. If the adversary had been depicted fairly, the hero’s complex as the saviour would have been more obvious. A weak protagonist is enhanced by a weak antagonist.” He spoke “Poor execution, a poorer story, and the worst research. When you can, stop by and see us. We make excellent hosts. Will demonstrate our appearance, attire, and way of life.”
